桐材の表面をバーナーで炙り、一部を炭化させることで、木材の表面がデコボコになり、加工前よりも木目が陰影が際立ち、深みのある表情が生まれ味わい深さが増します。
また日焼けや汚れが目立ちにくくなり防汚、防水効果も生まれます。

畳を濡らしたくない または汚したくない場合には、畳は着脱できます。

仕上げに亜麻仁油を塗り込み 乾燥後 温めた布で余分なオイルを拭き取ってます。
※手触りでヌルっとオイルを強く感じる場合には、温めた布を固く絞って拭き取って下さい。
※傾斜微調整ネジ穴を濡らさないようにして下さい。 穴が木の膨張によりネジが入らなくなります。 濡らしたり？湿らせてしまった場合にはよく乾燥させてから一度ネジを差し込み、回すのが固い場合には少しずつヤスリで削って調整してください。 少しずつですよ！

By heating the surface of paulownia wood with a burner and partially carbonizing it, the surface becomes uneven, highlighting the grain and creating a richer, more refined look. It also makes sun damage and stains less noticeable, providing stain and water resistance.

The tatami mats can be removed if you don't want them to get wet or dirty.

To finish, we apply linseed oil and, after it dries, wipe off any excess oil with a warm cloth. 
※If the oil feels very slimy to the touch, wring out the warm cloth and wipe it off.
※ Do not get the tilt adjustment screw holes wet. The wood will expand and prevent the screws from going in. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly and then insert the screw. If it is difficult to turn, file it down a little at a time to adjust it. Little by little!
